Yours Jacob The Rothschild Name We the undersigned members of the Rothschild family would ask you either to withdraw your thirteenth resolution at the General Meeting of Paris Orleans on 24th September, 2015, or to add an appropriate prefix to the name Rothschild so that it is clear as to which Rothschild group is being referred to. It has been a cornerstone of our family's policy that our respective interests should be identified by a prefix. We therefore object strongly to the investment holding company Paris Orleans changing its name to Rothschild & Co without such a prefix. Attached to this letter is the opinion which we gave to your chosen Arbitrator and which gave our views as to why we thought a prefix was called for. The good name of Rothschild has already been badly damaged by the open disagreement between the two French Rothschild groups. We would like you to take every possible step to see that further damage is not inflicted on our family's good name and hence our writing to you to ask you to withdraw or amend the Resolution so as to allow for a prefix before the name Rothschild.
