In the second floor library there is a large fireplace. A source who worked on the stone and marble in the 90's says behind the fireplace was a hidden staircase. The fireplace and mantle rotated 90 degrees on a center point and the stairs could be accessed through one side. There was a concealed push button to rotate it open and close.
