Budget
• Last year numbers were higher, allowed us to make donation to athletic
foundation
• Fields 1 and 2 turf went down Monday, middle to end March ready (need 2-3
weeks 45 degree temps to be ready)
• Well balanced budget
• Fees going up $5K to pay additional administrative fees and to fund new helmets
and other equipment needs
• Need pants too but shoulder pads good to go for next few years
• Budget approved
• Passed vote to raise fee for June camp to $275 to allow us to pay coaches more
• We could ask for sponsorships — one per team, lacrosse does it and people are
lining up to sponsor
• Passed vote to make $550 even for registration
Fundraising
• Denis will donate his house for a potential private event
• $200/couple for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails
• Will be in June — friends and family, coaches
• We could get sponsors for $2500 each to fund helmets by promoting safety
Equipment
• Helmets -- $10 cheaper to go with matte black vs. shiny black like they are now —
we will go with matte black
• At Chris Hevesy's request the board is working to include his team in a bulk
purchase. Board decided to table for the next meeting
• Pants — in dire straights for new pants we have charged $25 in past for people to
buy a 2^d pair, now we will raise to $30

YMCA Opportunity
• Mark Spellman from the Y wants us to help market the YMCA by using them for
speed and agility clinics. Board decided to politely tell the Y we're well covered
with speed & agility clinics run by our HS coaches
• Dave asked if Oxygen can run speed & agility drills right after equipment
distribution. Board voted to allow — HS coaches will staff — Miska and company
Grievance
• We will send Jose Galavis the code of conduct and a letter that states if he violates
the code of conduct again we'll take action and not allow him to come to games
• We can fall back on FCFL board if we need to
• Ben will draft a letter and pass it by the board
• Board voted to change the 1-game suspension to 2 games for any coach kicked out
of a game. FCFL policy is 1-game but NC policy next year will be 2-game
suspension and if you do it again you get thrown out, no more coaching
Coaching
• Good option for incoming ragrade coach for next year that's not a dad
Magnet
• All in favor of new magnet, will be provided for Varsity too
Chris Silvestri
• Coaches putting together clinics for K-12
• 9-12 - fundamentals —"every days" — we could practice based on curriculum
from the HS — want to get K-12 working on fundamentals
• Mix up grades — make dynamic warmup going thru drills
Next Meeting: March 28 at 7:30pm at Lapham Center
