OK that is great news if he can help with the $25K now, and we can
discuss the larger proposal w/ him when the current moronic media
shitstorm subsides...
The wire transfer info remains the same as what I sent you a couple weeks ago
thx a lot

Hi Richard,
Sure, that is totally understood. I have seen the spate of utterly
idiotic negative publicity in the news, and I'm sony you guys have to
deal with that. From my view I see two possibilities: a) that crap is
all made up by greedy people seeking money and fame, b) maybe some
variation of what is alleged did happen, but if so it was surely an
occurrence among reasonably mature people who mutually consented at
the time, so why is it anybody else's business? Our society is pretty
Inked in some ways.... But obviously you guys have already figured
that out ;-p
I don't want to push you guys at a difficult time, but given my own
situation I do feel moved to ask if Jeffrey might still be able to
help with $25K for my "corporate contribution" to the OpenCog Hong
Kong project. He has helped in this way every year since 2010,
usually via a donation to Humanity-F. If it's simply not possible
given the circumstances I do understand, but I wanted to remind of
this option just in case it was forgotten given all the other mess
happening on your end. Of course if it's not possible I will do my
best to find the $25K elsewhere so OpenCog Hong Kong can keep going.
I look forward to discussing our research proposal with Jeffrey again
once this latest bout of media idiocy dies down ... as it always does
given some time as you know...
Yours,
Ben

hello again,
So, I'm curious as to the status -- has Jeffrey decided to fund this
proposal? I haven't actually heard from him about it, only from you.
But I assume he's been on holiday during the Xmas / New years period
thx ;)

Hi Richard,
Ah, one more thing. Just in case you decide to wire funds *today*
(Dec. 31) ... if you want to wire them to a business account (rather
than a charitable organization), it would be better to use the
following information:
***
Practical Visionaries Limited
HSBC, Hong Kong
SWIFT code: HSBCHICHHHKH
Account number: 078-353455-838
***
This is because wiring $$ to my US company Novamente LLC on the last
day of 2014 would result in Novamente needing to pay tax on the $$
Thanks
