I have seen the spate of utterly idiotic negative publicity in the news, and I'm sony you guys have to deal with that. From my view I see two possibilities: a) that crap is all made up by greedy people seeking money and fame, b) maybe some variation of what is alleged did happen, but if so it was surely an occurrence among reasonably mature people who mutually consented at the time, so why is it anybody else's business? Of course if it's not possible I will do my best to find the $25K elsewhere so OpenCog Hong Kong can keep going. I look forward to discussing our research proposal with Jeffrey again once this latest bout of media idiocy dies down ... as it always does given some time as you know...
