That whole approach needs to be worked out with the stair. We are looking at that. Also, Tom and I had a conference call with Jeffrey about the pool building. Some of the items we discussed: • Shift the living room building west, so it relates better to the main residence, and reduces the west deck areas. It does not need to be centered over the pool. East deck gets larger, but will need to be addressed. • Study creating a balcony within the pool space. The main stairs would connect to the balcony, to reduce the impact of the 20' floor-to-floor differential. • Create a connection from the pool down to the service road. • Break up the terrace north of the main residence. Create more of a courtyard on the east, possible at +57-6". • Barn door should slide, and be +/-20'-30' wide overall. • Need to incorporate bathrooms at the upper level, for the main residence. May be part of the living room, or a separate pavilion. • Stairs at north terrace should reflect the design of the Indian palace stairs forwarded by Jeffrey. The grade from the walk behind the kitchen should follow the grade of the stairs and couture back to the 56'6' The other study is look at running the road behind the bedroom straight cast and have the access drive to the library take off at 90 degrees instead of the current wishbone Both of these issues requires a new study of the terracing. Plcasc send us your comments, and let me know when you want to set up a call to discuss. We want to get this into the 3D model as soon as we think we are close to a final layout.
