You are =etting terrible advice from smart people who have never done this work =nd have no
idea what they're talking about. I understand where =hey're coming from, but it is just bad advice, full stop. I could =ive
you dozens of examples where the only reason my clients got =ff--and we get a lot off--was because we fought hard to
make the =rocess fair. Moreover, no one will take seriously the =onstitutional law arguments of a physicist, no matter
how famous he =s. You need a lawyer to make those.
I don't mean =o be rude, but I have to be somewhat jealous with my time so I can =ocus on the
cases in which people have decided to hire me. We =pent a lot of time on the phone yesterday, which I was very happy
to =o, and I am willing to do a short call with Jeffrey, but I can't =eep emailing about this. I have a limited amount of
time, =nd I have to make sure that I am spending it as much as possible on my =urrent clients. I assure you that if you
hire me and someone else =ants to keep talking about their case while they're deciding, I will =ell them the same thing--
that they have enough information to make a =ecision and just need to decide.
Tell Jeffrey =e may have to play phone tag, since my weekend schedule is a little up =n the air.
So he will need to leave me his number. I think =1 a.m. Eastern should work as a start if it works for him.

what number should he call you on? And a =ood time? BTW when he calls, it says no caller ID
on the phone.. =nbsp;(or I could give you his office number) I received similar advice =his morning from a former trial
lawyer who was also on the board of the =ulletin of the Atomic Scientists with me.. He was the one who yesterday =rged
me to seek legal advice, but today he called to say I should get =dvice and assistance, but from his experience bringing a
lawyer to =epresent me to these offices is a killer.. that indicating that I =m not guilty and am willing to work with the
offices (with advice and =ssistance from a good lawyer in the background) is better.
So, I wanted to know =our thoughts about this. I assume we could still do a retainer =tc and
have you assist in every way, including investigation etc.. =nbsp; Thoughts? Sorry to take so much of your time, but =his
is obviously important to me and I want to handle it very =arefully.
And once again, I am happy to pay for your time responding to =his email if you want, and
talking to Jeffrey, if you want.
