I wanted to give you an honest evaluation of LSJ conditions. I hope you will take the feedback as constructive
despite its somewhat negative content.
The problem with giving honest evaluations while working there is that you yourself often use any information
provided to start a rift between the staff and managers, so in interest of keeping a job, it is not advisable to
criticize or any of her inner circle.
is unorganized, unskilled and lazy. She spends about 25% of her time solving crisis at her home. In my 3
weeks on the island, she was gone for 3 full days for kids issues. Once for a school meeting where CeCe did
not even bother to show up and twice for medical issues. is on the phone for hours a day with family
trouble. But, since is protected by you, any mention of her beinifisuited for the job is a fastest way off
the island. We both know that. There are countless situations where screws up weekly, but you don't get
to hear about it. Did you hear about the DMV blunder the day before your arrival? Just one of many that week.
As you may also know, is not interested in Danny V being terminated. While she can't stand Danny and
his lying and procrastinating, she is smart enough to see the value in having him there to help her get rid of
other managers threatening her own position. A little rumor here and there gets to your attention and yet another
manager is gone. How many is it now?
But the absolute biggest problem on LSJ and the reason nobody can successful manage the place is the owner.
And I'm sure you know this. You lied to me on multiple occasions, just for the sake of creating drama or to justify
sending emails complaints. In fact, in 3 weeks, there was nothing but that kind of nasty emails. I don't know why
you would do that? On one hand you seem so concerned about having a peaceful home environment, but
everything you do creates absolutely the opposite. I would highly recommend a change of your management
style. Instead of always looking for things to complain about, try some positive feedback for things well done. As
it is right now, everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off, trying to avoid the next outburst
from you. It is maddening to watch.
I am really upset about being treated like this. I used to have a lot of respect for you, liked you as a person. And,
you'd think for someone who is so disliked due to past mistakes that you'd appreciate people who are loyal to
you and want to make a difference? But, instead you make up reasons to make me fail.
So, now you are back to square one. managing the island, Brice, and John pushed out. Is that
really what you want???
Get rid of , Danny, Chris, Peter and Carlos. Clean house and at the same time, rethink how you interact
with your staff. That is the only way you will ever get the Islands to be a place anyone can thrive. It's not rocket
science to manage the place, but no matter who you hire, the result will always be the same without major
changes in direction.

Finally, I really can't recommending Mike and give up a great job to go work on the island. We
both know that and Danny will have them sent packing in a few weeks.
You hired me for 3 months of consulting. I'm happy to come in and get rid of everyone and find a crew that
works, get Mike and trained and situated and finally turn the place around. But it will require
guarantees for all parties involved that it won't be sabotaged.
Just needed to get this off my chest.
