Why don't you start with Roger Lewin. I hired him to write Murray's original proposal for "The
Quark and the Jaguar" (he didn't want to write the book). He is Richard Leakey's coauthor of
"Origins" and "Origins Reconsidered". 1 brought him in as the book doctor to fix George
Smoot's book "Wrinkles in Time" . He wrote his own book, entitled "Complexity" about the
goings on at SFI in the 90s. He coauthored Irene Pepperberg's best seller on Alex the parrot
Right now he's the outside editor for Mahzarin Banaji's book on Implicit Bias, and he's set to
work as outside editor which Craig Venter is going to write when Craig makes his big
announcement in the near future. Before book writing he wan a New Scientist editor.
He divides his time between Cambridge, MA and New Hampshire. I told him about what you're
looking for and he is expecting your call. (Thursday he leaves for a trip to Sante Fe.
