But this year we've made it easier for your family to help less fortunate ones during the holidays. FAMILY GIVING THIS THANKSGIVING This year we are partnering with FeedingNYC to provide complete Thanksgiving meals to 8,000 families living in homeless shelters. On Tuesday, November 23, volunteers will gather at Chelsea Piers to individually pack and deliver these meals. For a suggested donation of $10,000 —enough to provide meals for over 1,140 people—Robin Hood will secure a delivery truck for your family or business that will allow 15 people to pack and personally deliver the Thanksgiving meals. Volunteer shifts will begin at 5:30 a.m. and will continue until all of the dinners have been delivered. HOLIDAY GIFT REGISTRIES It's a sad fact that countless New York City children and teens won't receive even one gift for the holidays. Robin Hood has something to say about that. We've created a Robin Hood Gift Registry. We will send you direct links to all of the wish lists of Robin Hood grantees on Amazon.com. All you need to do is tell us that you are interested, and we'll get you started. Then you can start to make their wishes come true.
