Subject: Reactions to Wednesdays dinner for William and Annabel Astor
Title: Reactions to Wednesday's dinner for William and Annabel Astor
did not mean to hit the send button yet...I have more reactions to send you.
I want you to understand the depth of the effect your support has on my life, my business opportunities, my social
effixtiveness and my general happiness. I do not take your support lightly and by every day to live up to your generosity.
It breaks my heart and make me furious that my brother within ten years after my father's death 21 years ago managed to
loose so much of his money. That money was the result of 60 years ofmy grandfather and father working 7 days a week so
we could have a better life. I was so proud of my family's accomplishments and my idiot brother (who to this day my
mother insanely defends), has disgraced the family. My mother bailed him out and now she lives in Palm Beach selling
her jewelry to make ends mect....and moronically justifys her situation by saying, "it could have been Maddolt"
So I always want to do my best to make my father proud and live up to his standards....and now it gives me such
inspiration to try to make you proud ofme and know you are getting a lot of bang for your buck.
xoxo Peg
More to come.

Brava on hitting it out of the park last night: you assembled such an amazing collection of friends from both sides of the

Dear Peggy,
You certainly are the hostess with the mostest. The party was fun with so many eclectic people, and I did have the great
