Origins Project Postdoctoral Prize Lectureship
The Origins Project at Arizona State University is pleased to announce the inaugural Origins Project Postdoctoral
Prize Lectureship. This prize will be awarded annually to an outstanding junior scholar chosen from all countries, from
any field of study relevant to the Origins Project. The prize consists of a $10,000 USD, and travel and accommoda-
tion expenses. While visiting ASU, the winner will present up to four lectures on his or her research area.
Nominations will be accepted starting September 2014. The prize is open to junior scholars who were awarded
the PhD no earlier than July 1, 2010 and do not hold a tenured, tenure-track, or equivalent position. Each eligible
department may put forward only one nominee for the prize. Criteria for selection will include outstanding research
credentials as well as an ability to effectively communicate scientific concepts to a broad audience in English.
