The extreme difference of temperature on the outside of the door to the warm inside warps the door and freezes the locks, also due to the outside air booster fan having to be shut down because of brutal outside air temperatures the house is in a negative pressure. To secure the house properly over night , I will need to install a dead bolt on the front door that can be locked from the inside when the weather gets this extreme.
