Moving galleys from the fwd position to the aft cabin is a huge undertaking as the "domino effect" results in replacing many of the existing interior components. Bottom line is that in 90% of the scenario's, it does not make financial sense to acquire a fwd galley aircraft when the end desire is an aft galley aircraft. Moving galley's (and everything that goes along with that) can quickly add $1M to a project as well as increase the down time from 14 weeks to 22 weeks or longer. Depending on final work scope, moving galleys, floor plan change. etc... puts you in a $2.0M - $2.25M range. This being said, if privacy in the aft bedroom is of any priority to you, then I strongly advise a fwd galley aircraft. Yesterday you mentioned "rattling sounds". These vibration induced sounds customarily identifiable at pocket door assemblies, galleys and cabinets. Door sounds like the one's in 1025 can be significantly reduces with proper guides to channel the moving door. If you heard any sounds from the galley area or other cabinetry, these sounds are usually rattling from customer personal effects that are not cradled with drawer inserts (dishes, silverware, glasses, bottles, etc.).
