During the call, he described a call from his client in which she expressed stress and frustration with how long the case was pending and how stressful the experience of testifying would be. He also conveyed that was frustrated that she had not heard back from the FBI victim specialist. During the call, we discussed original decision to testify at trial. relayed to me that, before we charged the case, had discussed with him whether to cooperate with the case, and during those conversations• had advised her to cooperate and discussed with her that cooperating with the case was the morally right thing to do, and they had discussed how testifying at trial was the right thing to do. He also mentioned that he had told her it would "help her case."
