I spoke to f12/.11 who is the broker =t Scrouton Marine. She spoke to Randy, the owner of West =ay. She gave him a pep talk and he's gonna get going on the inform=tion requested. IN THE MEAN TIME.... this vessel is the former LCU1672, US =nbsp;Army Bush Master. 135' shallow draft 180 ton landing craft. Built 1976. Twin 12-71 Det=oit Diesel naturally aspirated propulsion engines with 4 blades propellers=housed in Kort Nozzles. Two onboard generators. Keel cooled. When the vessel left the a=my it went to the State if North Carolina DOT as 'West Bay'. They used=it to replenish oyster beds in their tidewater areas. (See photos ) It was sold north to people unkn=wn at this time. Randy King has it now and wants to sell it. Only two credible vessels =ike it are for sale... this one is the newest and by far, the most accessi=le. The ad for the sale has been taken down but they had it listed for $70=k plus and reduced it to $500k plus. This isn't like buying a=car. There are only so many of these and the newest of the bunch is in you= back yard and not in the other side of the planet. Not to go look at it is crazy as JE sa=d he wants one. Told me so.
