Hi Kathy,
I can work around that=for a couple of days. I realize the choice of available tv options is off =he charts.
Building a niche for a tv, automatically restricts you to futur= size upgrades. However, one dimension that (in your
exhaustive search) sh=uld be dialed in ,is the thickness. Currently, readily available televisio=s are available in a
LED,LCD,and Plasma format. I'm no techie, I.e. I =eal with the application of math, chemistry, physics, history, and
reading=comprehension, on a daily basis. Semi-conductors are outside of my knowled=e base. Once all those little bytes
have been neatly packaged, game on.
See if you can narrow=your search to present me with the overall thickness of the television. Ga=by has
specified that the existing wall will be padded approximately 2&quo=;, and many LED type televisions fall within that
dimension. If, however, =ou opt to go with a thicker tv, we may need to forego the articulating arm= and simply bolt the
thing to the wall (So that it doesn't project bey=nd wall plane)
Sor=y for the long-winded explanation, but I thought it wise to give you some =arameters.

Jim

Hi Jim,
I am not going to=use the same tv (too small), but am not quite sure what size the new
one w=ll be. Do you need to know by Tuesday?

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the fo=low up on the ceiling. I pushed the framing crew back one day

In preparation for the framing, I =oticed that there will be a niche for the television.
Ideally, the tv woul= be mounted to an articulating arm, so it can be set flush with the wall s=rface, when not in use. The
dimensions of the niche, would be determined b= the tv. Were you planning on using the tv that you already have? If so,
w=ere is it currently located? If not, did you have a particular model in mi=d?
Thanks again,
Jim
