In attendance were a number of private =quity, hedge fund executives and VC investors including some you may =now. SAC could not attend though he asked for additional materials =bout our work. Over the weeks ahead, we'll see how successful =ollowup outreach to him and others in this group might =e. Two weeks ago, I spoke at the UMass =isaster Response Conference to an exceptional group of delegates from =lobal disaster relief organizations — most of whom we've worked =ide-by-side with over the past decade. They all await our training =hich we are currently offering. Our reputation is solid and we are =ighly regarded in this field. We have now =ngaged three PhDs (one a neuroscientist) with whom we are devising a =esearch methodology to authenticate our protocols which we believe can =itigate and prevent PTSD in children following natural disasters. We =ust hire two more staff members for which we need funding as well as =nderwriting the actual cost of research at either Johns Hopkins or =nother university graduate department.
