Idea from Alan:
I don't like the idea a different bush to the bougainvilla.
We could mount Confederate jasmine on that wall near the Coconut palm. It receives
nearly a half day of sunlight so blooms won't be prolific but will show intermittently with
fragrance during the year. Generally, April brings a huge flush of flowers that last weeks
with tons of fragrance. I also could install a Night Blooming Jasmine shrub in place of
some purple Bouganvillea west or north of the pool. This shrub can grow large, 10' or
smaller and blooms intermittently throughout the year with night time only
fragrance. Again, all of this needs as much sunlight as possible but they display flower
they are very fragrant, much more than the Gardenia. You need to get real close to
Gardenia flowers to pick up the fragrance.
