1099-DIV: Dividends and Distributions
Recipient's taxpayer Identification number (TIN). For your protection, this form may show only Box 3. Shows the part of the distribution that is nontaxable because it is a return of your cost (or
the last four digits of your TIN (social security number (SSN). individual taxpayer identification other basis). You must reduce your cost (or other basis) by this amount for figuring gain or loss when
