A couple of screws, etc., and it is back in place. My right shoulder was ripped from the socket and they put in back in place in the ER room. In about 2 -3 months I'll have it surgically repaired (rotator cuff, etc.) I'm in a wheelchair for at least 3 months with initial PT scheduled on the knee sometime in 2 months or so. I was in the hospital for 8 days and on this past Friday was released where I'll be staying with my daughter, Kim, and her family for the foreseeable future. EFTA00763715 My two kids, Kim and Danny, along with several great friends have rallied around me and provided for an outstanding support group for me. Jan and I were married for 37 years. She was (and still is) my best friend, lover, wife and companion. I will struggle to regain my confidence but knowing my kids, grandchildren, friends and Jan are there for me will get me through. I never realized what power the words "I love you" meant until I met her. I have been humbled by this most magnificent person who taught me how to love and laugh. We have plans to develop a memorial website so my grandchildren will know one day who Jan was and to have a memorial for her at a future date. Right now my priorities will be to welcome (within days) my newest grandchild into this world. Once this happens and everyone is healthy we'll make plans. I can be reached either by email or through my cell phone. Calls are welcomed at any time. My partner, Steve Kiraly, of 26 years has been solid by my side.
