Also please note that the medical school routinely "taxes" donations by about 15-20%. I have asked them to
exempt your donation from this tax by saying that you did not wish to have your donation taxed (I hope you
don't mind my taking the liberty to do that). I have successfully done this in the past.

I will find out about the exemption. Please see attached W-9 form for Mount Sinai (tax ID and payee)
Also Dr. Germain is planning to terminate Emily Harris due to no new funds. But can this new donation continue

I have a donation coming in from a new source. But they will only make the contribution if the dean exempts
them from the customary tax on donations. It is earmarked for my research with Doris Germain.
Whom do I ask about the Dean's tax? And what are the details of the check? Tax ID and payee etc??
