There were red stretch marks along his neck. He claims to not have a recollection of what happened. He said that within the last few days Tartaglione (his bunkmate) has threatened him. Tartaglione claims that he had his headphones on, was not paying attention to Epstein, and does not know what happened. The MCC is investigating and will keep us posted. I discussed with whether we/FBI want to be more active in any such investigation — not clear what the right answer is. Happy to discuss tonight or in morning if you'd like. EFTA00076612
