EPSTEIN came to California and stayed at the Bel Air Hotel. took to EPSTEIN's room and introduced her to him. EPSTEIN showed a lot of interest in her life and upbringing; told him how EPSTEIN kept in touch with after that meeting, offering to pay for her schooling. EPSTEIN suggested attend hair school. wanted to learn different languages and to travel; EPSTEIN told her she could go anywhere she wanted to go. was 17 years old when she met EPSTEIN. She and EPSTEIN kept in touch via phone. EPSTEIN or his assistant would call . EPSTEIN invited to one of his houses with went to a few of his houses, including those in Florida, US Virgin Islands, and New Mexico. had been to these residences before she left recalled being overwhelmed by his houses. EPSTEIN had a life of luxury and his lifestyle was more than had ever seen. EPSTEIN was fun and lighthearted. and EPSTEIN did activities together to include trails and riding hummers. was very comfortable with him; she felt blessed and safe. On first visit to EPSTEIN's home, EPSTEIN called her in to do a massage. was present. and were both in swimsuits. EPSTEIN had multiple apartments in New York City; different people lived in those apartments. had an apartment in NYC. JEAN LUC BRUNEL had several apartments. and were very close and good friends. described has her best friend, who was very sweet and quiet. understood to be EPSTEIN's girlfriend. No one ever spoke of their relationship with EPSTEIN. When tried to open up to about the times EPSTEIN assaulted her, could not relate. described as a bit standoffish; was not very friendly. described as havin and did not wear a lot of makeup. was older than approximated that was approximately five years older than her. was EPSTEIN's assistant who helped with plane departures and scheduling; everything went through or MAXWELL. could not recall if she and had talked about age. was present and participated in two assaults by EPSTEIN on before turned 18. touched on both occasions. did not want to go into further detail at this time. EPSTEIN, MAXWELL, , and were the individuals that interacted with the most. There were other people around, including those around age. Some of those people would come and stay for days while others were in and out in a couple of hours. recalled that traveled with her the first time but was not there a whole lot. was around more in the beginning of time with EPSTEIN. recalled that they were both together a handful of times. recalled saying what a good guy EPSTEIN was. In New York, recalled seeing girls stay in the apartment when it was empty. had no idea if any of the girls were under 18 years old because she did not talk with them and did not know their names. There was no routine. EPSTEIN always woke up early and had his coffee. There was no set time; woke up when she was ready. saw a lot of girls coming in and out for a short period; the girls would be at the house for an hour or two. EPSTEIN was very private. knew the girls were coming to meet him but did not know why. thought the girls could also be coming to see MAXWELL. The girls would come in by the kitchen. heard say that the girls were there to see EPSTEIN, and felt that it was clear that they were there to see him. did not recall names as they were not spending time with her. It was very secretive. was very secretive; she did not trust anyone. On EPSTEIN's island, EPSTEIN had separate living quarters. There was no set schedule. They all gathered around the outside area. It was very leisurely. People would come to the island, including JEAN LUC BRUNEL, NAOMI CAMPBELL, and some older people. There was "less traffic" in terms of people being in and out of the island. In New Mexico, the set up was "kind of strange". There was no meeting point besides the kitchen. did not see EPSTEIN a whole lot while there. thought she could probably count on both hands the number of times she was in New Mexico with EPSTEIN. EPSTEIN did not visit New Mexico often. stayed in a room downstairs while other people stayed in nicer rooms upstairs. stated there were four assaults by EPSTEIN that occurred before she turned 18. stated these occurred in Paris, New Mexico, and Florida. Two of the assaults were rapes where EPSTEIN snuck into her room while she had been sleeping. understood BRUNEL to be one of EPSTEIN's best friends. BRUNEL works for and owns a modeling agency. described BRUNEL as very centric, small, and colorful. saw BRUNEL quite a bit; BRUNEL traveled with them. described MAXWELL as very intimidating and very cold. understood MAXWELL to be EPSTEIN's partner. EPSTEIN and MAXWELL's relationship was more business like. avoided MAXWELL as MAXWELL was not friendly or nice. EPSTEIN helped open her first bank account. recalled that she thought it was on 66th and 2nd. She set up a credit card. EPSTEIN had a banker help her out. EPSTEIN gave her a letter that she was residing with him. The bank account was in her name. EPSTEIN also paid for education and sometimes gave her cash. EPSTEIN gave a gold ring from Egypt that was from 600 B.C., which left behind in New York when she left. EPSTEIN took shopping; he was very controlling about what she wore. EPSTEIN was buying the clothes so he picked what she wore. EPSTEIN believed that a monogamous way of life was not the way to live. EPSTEIN told that it was not healthy to be in a monogamous relationship. The idea was to build a harem. went with EPSTEIN to together to learn to build this. trusted him a lot and believed a lot of what he said. felt that it was all about mind control. EPSTEIN asked once if she thought it was wrong for a man to put women's faces on children's bodies to masturbate to them. It was a very random question. told EPSTEIN that she thought it was wrong. took photographs of did not recall how it came up that the photographs were taken; she did not recall whose idea it was to take the photographs. There was one photo shoot. thought the photographs had been taken prior to her going to . The photographs were taken on Epstein's island. thought that she was wearing a swimsuit and that they were more like modeling photographs. did not remember a lot about it. recalled that the photo shoot seemed lighthearted.
