I do not recall if you wanted to do a smaller number of swales or pass for now. * estimated savings by sourcing cheaper trucks (250 or 300 vs 400 per jeffers) & using our heavy materials account for crushed stone (29.50 vs 30.00) jeffers fee (no 15% fee on stone or portion of trucks we source) -> Note that we may have additional costs for crusher run as Anna has stated some of crusher stone has washed away and 3" does not remain in all locations were it was laid -> it appears that we have already laid approximately 800 of 1300 tons ** jeffers explained that he uses 1.5 gallons of diesel fuel for each ton of asphalt paving ->1500 tons x 1.5 gallons of diesel = 2,250 diesel gallons x 1.60 per gallon savings = 3,600 *** Note this figure does not include barge costs (we still have approximately 20,000 credit with boyson) Jeffers figures he needs 4-5 days to complete crusher run and then 3-4 weeks for Asphalt He can begin February 1st and complete no later than March 4th provided work is not halted for weather or no work days per your requests Please advise Thank you EFTA01185580 On Aug 7, 2015, at 6:41PM, Eason Jeffers wrote: Good Day Daphne, Please see attached proposal for added aggregate base for LSJ paving. Those plans also show a 3 inch aggregate road base that was not a part of the original proposed scope. Do you want me to review the base and give you some numbers for the scope?
