Thank you for your candid feedback. I understand your frustration but am getting mixed signals. We spoke
yesterday where I explained that I hoped to provide an alternate battery composition proposal but that it would
take time to receive a response from the suppliers and the cost would be higher.
You mentioned that a quote by today would be helpful.. relaying exactly what I've received to date, which
is a viable option.
Your response seems to suggest you desire a replacement that would equate to the same cost structure or a
direct replacement from a company no longer in business. Both of these are unattainable.
ProSolar is only acting in good faith with honorable intentions. The technology is advancing rapidly and
trying to balance your request between timeline expediency and the best possible option. We've only just
learned that some of the original stacks are damaged beyond repair.
I've also reached out to the company that purchased the intellectual property from Aquion but have been
resistant due to the fact that the Aquion went bankrupt and none of us are happy with their product.
Please understand that the numbers relaying are the cost of the product plus installation.
I, on the other hand, understand that you expect us to assume the manufacturer's warranty but have left that as a
second conversation once the replacement is determined.

after patiently waiting many months and having no results this email it not helpful..
we had multiple conversations this week regarding your experience with lithium after moving away from salt
water batteries yet now you are proposing nickel iron battery option..
lastly we are looking for you to make good on your warranty and are not looking for cost offsets vs a larger
number
i am embarrassed to send this email to mr epstein and advise that you send us a real proposal before this is
removed from me and turned over to our attorney...
thank you

Morning Richard,
I'm awaiting a vendor response concerning a Lithium Ion storage option but have received some preliminary
information I'd like to share.
There is a Nickel Iron battery option which has been the mainstay for the the NIssan Leaf and other electric
vehicles.
This has a 30+ year life expectancy (11,000 Cycles @ 80% depth of discharge) and is compatible with all of
the supporting infrastructure i.e. SMA inverters. chargers, etc.. Unfortunately there is a 4 month lead time
for delivery.
The initial "turn key" cost analysis for this system is $347,958.00. This is prior to any offsets.
I'll continue to pursue options but appreciate any feedback as we move forward.
