100%. That being said, all 6e is redacted. So when the subfile comes up (we are only in the main file w las right
now), act accordingly.
Thanks.

Subject: [EXTERNAL EMAIL] RE: Please add to 6(e) Letter
Hi a,
I consulted with my supervisors, and our office understands Rule 6(e) to require that any agent who receives
access to grand jury material must (1) be included in a notification to the Court in the relevant district, and (2)
receive instructions from the relevant USAO about grand jury secrecy.
Based on that understanding, we propose the following for each case you listed:
• For 50D-NY-3027571 (the main Epstein case file) and 90A-NY-3151227 (Epstein death investigation),
please send my supervisor, Rob Sobelman (cc'd), the names and email addresses of all personnel who will
be given access to the file. Rob will handle the 6(e) process for each new name you provide and will
continue to do so as you send him new names throughout the review process.
EFTA01649061
• For 90C-NY-3154599 (MCC corruption case), our understanding is that this case focused on bribery and
contraband smuggling in the MCC unrelated to Epstein. The defendants prosecuted in that case included
violent gang members, and none of the conduct had any connection to Epstein to our knowledge. We do
not understand why this case would be part of the review, and we would have a number of concerns about
witness and cooperator safety if this file were to be released. If it turns out this file needs to be reviewed
as part of this project, Rob can handled the 6(e) letters, but we would ask to discuss with the relevant
decisionmaker before this case file is included in the review, please.
• For 31E-MM-108062 (the Miami Epstein Investigative file), my contact at SDFL was Tony LaCosta, who
I believe is the Managing AUSA of SDFL's West Palm Beach office. His email address is
and his work phone is 561-209-1015.
To reiterate our prior request, we ask that the case agents and/or line AUSAs who handled the New York
Epstein/Maxwell investigation be permitted to propose protections for victim information before any new
material is released to the public. We also ask that a process be considered, consistent with the Crime Victim
Rights Act, for providing notice to victims that materials relating to them may be released to the public.
Thanks,

Hi
Thank you for your time. The relevant case numbers for determination if we need 6(e) letters are:
50D-NY-3027571- the main Epstein case file.
31E-MM-108062- Miami Epstein Investigative file.
90A-NY-3151227- Epstein death investigation
90C-NY-3154599- Possible- MCC corruption case.
If you could provide a POC for the prosecutors of the other cases it would be greatly appreciated so I can reach
out to them regarding 6(e) material.
Sincerely,
Special Agent, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force

Hi
Maxwell has until April 10, 2025 to file a Writ of Certiorari with the Supreme Court. If she files a writ (which
seems likely), it will remain pending until the Supreme Court either grants or denies certiorari, which could take
months.
If the Supreme Court denies certiorari, then that will conclude her direct appeal (though she will have the option
of seeking habeas review under 28 USC 2255 within one year of the denial of certiorari). If the Supreme Court
grants certiorari, then her case will be briefed and calendared for oral argument, and we'll likely have to wait
about a year or so for a ruling from the Court.
Thanks,

Hi
Thank you very much. Quick follow up question - do you know when the date of appeals expires for
