Chip submitted his invoice, he requested $1,500 per day for G550 flying. I never told him there was an increase from our normal $1000 per day contract pilot pay. He said $1000 is fine, since he didn't bring it up till now,. He informs, since recurrent training for Contract Pilots that pay for their own training, get higher daily pay, since recurrent in G550 is $21,200 per year., I asked Neil Young, Lyndon Lea's Chief pilot,. What he pays on their GV, he stated $1200 to $1500 per day., Chip is due Recurrent G550 and Challenger 6000 Aug 1st, Cost $21,200 he wants to complete G550 recurrent, if we continue to use him more this year,. Otherwise, he may elect to get Challenger 6000 recurrent renewed, since they are paying $1700 to $2000 a day,. Since its a New aircraft and New type rating, contract pilots make more money from these companies on Newer released aircraft. I was planning to use Chip possibly another 60 days or so, once we get the G550 thru Paint and interior and Bill and Dave thru training,. What would you like to offer chip for his service?
