Steve with OnPoint has been extremely helpfull making sure we investigate all engine parameters,.
GE OWS On Wing suport team is GE certified guys,. even though Manny at FJTurbines is authorized,
I'd recommended using the GW OWS guys perform the Borescope on the 3 BBJ engines,. since we need thier Blessing if
we enroll with the OnPoint protection plan. the GE team operates in Doha and Dubai, so they should be local, but
represent GE.
Do you agree with using GE OWS guys or press for OnPoint to approve Manny's guys?
see email below from Steve.

Larry
I have copied folks from our Dubai and Doha On-Wing Support team. They should be able to help you with the pre-buy
inspection. At this time I will hold off on further quoting of the BBJ's.
Fabian, Jason Patrick and Omer
Larry's company is looking to purchase Royal Jets AC. We have little details on these high time engines and suspect a
history of hot section damage. Since the engine were not maintained by GE we do not have the details. What we
suspect potential hot section damage was due to sand ingestion blocking cooling paths. In order to qualify for OnPoint
and or Purchase by Larry's company. We recommend thorough BSI of hot section and inspection of each turbine blade.
My recommendation to Larry:
Use GE OWS team for the BSI.
• A performance check ground run may confirm the EDT margin and general performance.
• If you plan to fly in identified as hot and harsh with regions: 1. MEA 2. India 2. China. more than 50% of flights in
these regions, then they are subject to hot and harsh SBs.
Currently the BBj has 6280 hours airframe,. And 2231 cycles on airframe.
Info from Larry on the engines"
Royal Jet in Abu Dhabi owns and operates this plane,. Since they operate 7 BBJ's they mix and match their engines as
they require Mix., The BBJ we are in pursuit
#1 ENGINE serial number 876170 has 12,495 hours and 4184 cycles,. This engine has High margins since it has seen a
shop performance visit about 5 years ago.,
#2 ENGINE serial number 889151 has 5176 hours TSN with 1636 cycles.
No shop visit since new.
We have option to remove the 12,500 hour engine and install the original engine that came with this BBJ, serial 876171,
Which has 6200 hours, no shop visit.

I hope you can respond to and support Larry.

Hi Steve,.
Can you adjust your quote if we elect to keep the 12500 engine installed and enroll in your OnPoint program?
