Gray</b> <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a>></span><br> Date: Sun, Jan 4, 2015 at 7:32 PM<br> Subject: <br> To: Cheryl Mills <<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a>><br> <br> <br> <div dir="auto"> <div><span style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">Cheryl</span> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress"><br> </div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">One thought from plane.   Perhaps the easiest -- and most visible -- place to aim for diverse leadership in senior roles is in the Comms/Press apparatus.  There are a number of former Obama press/comms aides who have had roles on Campaigns, in government and even private sector now -- and so their experience rivals and maybe even exceeds whatever the people who played those roles in the '07/'08 cycle had (I'm thinking of people who were mostly in #2/deputy press secretary, traveling press, and Comms roles -- PFeiffer, Burton, Psaki, Etc).  Some names that come to mind:</div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress"><br> </div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">--Nayera Huq (you may know from state)</div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">-- Adora Andy Jenkins (formerly Holder's press sec, before that was at EPA.   Now in private sector as Comms director at a tech association in dc).  </div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">--Kevin Lewis (current Holder press secretary.  Worked for Pfeiffer forever)</div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">--Marti Adams (I think she is Deblasio's press sec now)</div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">--Dag Vega and Luis Miranda are both excellent and have both left WH.  Not sure where they ended up but could track down.</div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress"><br> </div> <div style="text-decoration:-webkit-letterpress">Minyon may know a number of these folks.
