=nbsp; will be another air ticket of course for both me and nancy but =robably good to have the extra week.. Don't know
what role =ustin will play, but I expect he would spend a bunch of hours with me =eforehand advising me. Stay tuned.

Mr. Dillon:
We will postpone =r. Krauss' meeting with the Office of Equity and =nclusion (OEI) by one week. He
must be available to meet on Wednesday, =pril 18, 2018 (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM) or Thursday, April 19, 2018 =9:30 AM -
12:30 PM). Let me know which day works best. Please =ote that we already postponed this meeting once before at Dr.
Kraussi>=99 request. We will not postpone the meeting a third time.
Please be advised =hat there is no right for an employee to be represented by an attorney =uring an
interview of this nature. However, OEI has agreed to permit =r. Krauss to have a "support person" present. The =upport
person has no participatory role during the interview. If the =upport person cannot abide by that condition, the person
will be =equired to exit the interview and wait in the reception area.

Thank you for the prompt response, Ms. =ahnke. The meeting is indeed canceled, and I am afraid I will
not budge =n that, so you should plan accordingly. I wanted to let you know that =oday in order to minimize the
inconvenience to you. But I'm =appy to work with you on another date later this month.
It would be great if we could avoid =etting off on an unnecessarily adversarial foot, and I am trying to be
=olite while still making our position clear. You cannot, consistent =ith either your own policies or the due process
clause, force Professor =rauss to have a meeting that he is not prepared to have. Rather than =rguing about that over
email and inevitably escalating this to the =eneral Counsel's office, I think our time would better spent =inding a new
date later this month once I've had a chance to =et up to speed. This is not a "no," by any means. It is =imply a "not yet."
Thanks, and have a nice weekend.

Ms. Mahnke and Ms. Ellison,
My name is Justin Dillon. =rofessor Krauss has hired me to serve as his advisor in this case. I =nderstand
from him that you all have a meeting scheduled for Tuesday =uring which you are going to ask him about some of the
allegations in =he case. I am afraid we are going to need to reschedule that for = later date, so that I have time to get up
to speed on the case and =roperly prepare Professor Krauss for this meeting. (I have been =ut of town all week for my
kids' spring break.) I am =orry for any inconvenience, and I will be in touch soon to find a new =ate.
Thanks very much, and have a nice =eekend.
