From: James Tagg To: Jeffrey E. <jeevacationggmail.com> Subject: Followup on non-computability and communications. Date: Wed, 01 Feb 2017 22:24:51 +0000 Attachments: Cengine_compressed.pdf; The_Penrose_Institute_Compressed.pdf It's been a while since we met in New York and I thought I would update you on the progress I have been making. I am working on two efforts to move forward in the area of consciousness and the brain. One, a non-profit research institute and the other, a commercial company somewhat along the lines of the conversation we had many months back in Florida. On the non-profit side, Roger Penrose has agreed to us founding an institute named after him looking at non-computability and creativity in human brains, along with the necessary quantum gravity and cosmology that is implied by his theories. He is being quite active in the venture. The company, Cengine, uses a human intelligence to intervene if it detects an artificial intelligence is about to fail. We imagine Al the opposite way around to current ideas. Today Als are programmed by large companies by extracting the knowledge from skilled practitioners. We imagine instead, people will have Cens —Al avatars that they program to do parts of their job. The owner will intervene when their unique human skills are needed. I've attached the presentations on the institute and Cengine. I making good progress with two family funds that I have so far presented to, Qualcomm and Horizons Ventures. I am, of course, looking for backing, advice and help with both ventures. James Tagg The Penrose Institute Cengine Ltd www.jamestagg.com EFTA01055571
