Robert Radical Breakthrough Development Work EFTA_R1_01800029 EFTA02607909  • Research on each =f the 13 episodes is ongoing and we are moving towards creating = short list of the top contributors per episode (with some =ontributors in multiple episodes). • We are aggregating =he top contributors around 4 to 5 central locations, such as SF =ay Area, LA, Chicago, Boston, New York, Santa Fe, London, =xford, and Cambridge for the main shoots. • We are creating a =hort list of locations for the secondary shoot - i.e. the =ore observational shoots on specific labs and =esearch facilities, such as the Music Lab at McGill, the =leep Lab at Harvard. • We are planning a =ecce in the autumn to assess locations and meet some of the key =ontributors. • We've brought on a =roduction manager / line producer as we develop detailed =esearch, contributors, locations, budgets. • Our team is =orking toward interviewing and hiring a top science-literate =ssociate producer / dedicated research producer. We've =een coordinating with colleagues at HHMI (Howard Hughes Medical =ssociation) as well as National Geographic for =taffing referrals, and now have a strong short list. This is = critical, long-term position. • We are assessing =raphics and animation companies and researching styles and graphic =deas that we might use to communicate some of the more =omplex ideas. • Our digital team =s researching a web extension for the www.closertotruth.com website, =eveloping ideas for a dedicated site neighborhood for =Radical Breakthroughs."
