Subject: Fwd: EPSTEIN / ISC facture 21awil15
Hi Vaidson,
Please approve payment for the attached invoice from GC. As I understand from the invoke ISC is charging 207 Euros for 2 technician 3 hours spent to run cable to connect 2 sides of the apartment, as we requested. 350 Euros is charged for the adjustments made to
the system to work properly. Is it extra or it is part of equipment installation contract?
Thank you,
Bella

I reviewed the situation with Valdson and confirm what Valdson and myself have already explained concerning the installation of the optic fiber:
ISC telephone installation has been completed.
Mr Moura from ISC will be present in the apartment while ORANGE will be installing the "livebox".
Mr Moura explained to me on the telephone that the "optic fiber livebox" (one for the 2 apartments) will be located in the technical room (local technique") of the second apartment and a cable will be installed from there to
the technical room next to Mr. Epstein's office (using existing cables).
This installation should (after verification this Wednesday morning) cover the 2 apartments.
Best regards.

Subject: Re: EPSTEIN /ref- ISC-ORANGE
All,
I won't be available on Monday afternoon, please accept my comments here. I've attached a new diagram demonstrating what I mean.
Currently there arc two ADSL intemet networks that arc independent of each other. One comes into a maintenance closet of the newer side of the apartment, the other under the desk in JEE's office in the older side.
• The BLUE lines depict the existing in-wall ethernet wiring on the newer side of the apartment. This provides that side of the apartment with strong and stable wireless connections. All the existing in-wall wiring on the newer side of
the apartment terminates in this maintenance closet. I *believe* the telephone connections and alarm all terminate in there as well — I didn't really look for them when I was there, so I'm not sure.
• The GREEN dots indicate the two AirPort Expresses that are wireless extensions of the basestation at JEE's desk. This is less than ideal, since wireless signals are inconsistent, but should be okay as long as neither Express is moved.
EFTA00852742
• The YELLOW line indicates a Powerline Adapter connection for an AirPort Extreme that provides wifi to the kitchen and dining room area. These ran ethemet/data signals over the electrical wiring. These connections am more stable
than wireless relay connections, but are completely dependent on the quality and routing of the electrical wiring. (For example, I attempted to replace the wireless extensions — in green — with powerline adapters, but the rooms that
needed the Expresses didn't find the data signal from the electrical outlets near them.)
• The ORANGE indicates the line from where NU has described Orange's Fibre network coming in, to where we should be locating their modem / CPE. Hopefully there is existing conduit between those two locations, but since we
can't leave the modem / CPE out in the hall, we are going to have to run this connection.
Ultimately, we need to join those into one network that coven the entire apartment - if not because that is what JEE expects (how all the other properties are configured), then to avoid paying twice for the same internee service
(as we are currently) and to have all devices on one network so they are reachable from one room to the other.
There are several ways to accomplish this, the easiest is to run a single ethernet line from the maintenance closet on the newer side to the AirPort Extreme under the desk of JEE's office (preferred) or to the AirPort Extreme in the
hallway behind the kitchen (acceptable. but dependent on the powerline adapter. so not ideal). This is indicated in PINK.
Ideally (and I can review these details to the support folks Voldson has working on the computers there). we'd have the new network configured thusly:
Orange Fibre modenbt-PF.
Aitfka Fad:um in maintensnee closet (contmlling the network ',damming and routing)
eximing network twitch
eximing AirPon Expresser & Alton Extreme on newer tide of apinment
new line to AirPon Extreme underlF.FA desk on bridge made)
eximing pnwerline aclircer to Kitchen AirPon Extreme
existing AirPon Expresses o NifteeM relay
My big question is how the VoIP phones arc wiring? I expect that they would have this same problems — where ever the PBX is installed, they'll still need to get signals to the desktop phone units. If they're running wires for the same
reason, maybe we can get them to run cables for the Internet at the same time?
I'm sorry I won't be available for the call. Please email me any questions.
Thank you.

Subject: Orange Install
Hello Valdson,
Attached is a PDF of where I believe we should have Orange install the Fibre connection.
I am hoping then can go In through (or above) the door into the maintenance closet and Install the Lkvebox Modem where the DSL modem Is currently. With any luck, you will be able to Just unplug whatever network cable Is plugged Into the DSL modem and plug
them into the Ilvebox modem.
When your computer techs are back from vacation, I'd like to discuss with them how to Join the FochApt01 and FochApt02 networks together.
