ETTORE SOFFRITTI Ferrara, 1927 as indicated by the
label it bears.
The top is made from two pieces of
601 64`91C 3
open-grained spruce.. The-back-is
inade from two pieces of quarter-cut
maple with a deep narrow livelyflame. The ribs and original
scroll arefrom matching stock. The varnish is golden orange in
color.
The cello is an attractive example of the maker's work and is in
excellent condition.
