They do this annually and choose different topics. Lots on safety, moderation, and online bullying this year. Also - a little taste of future of entertainment featuring Elastic.TV (the folks who did the intemet campaign for Game of Thrones). Even better than some of the sessions was the fantastic collection of people - dabbling in a number of areas, and catching up the NYU/ITP folks (that is a spiritual academic home for me in many ways given Red's mentorship for over 20 years....). Then - I skipped tonight's program in favor of going to see Hamilton, which was absolutely brilliant! If you haven't yet seen it, it's one of the rare, super genius and memorable plays to see. I'll take off around 12:45 on Wednesday, stopping to see the folks at The Future Project before I take off. This is an education non-profit that I love and I'm on their advisory board. Sony you're not around! I'm planning to return for the Pritzker Prize, April 3-5 or 6.... Will you be in town for that? The grant is moving forward at UChicago and it looks like we'll pull an interesting group together for the first meeting in March. Are you eating sugar these days? Want homemade cookies for your (almost) birthday? I'm so grateful to you for making the apartment available. Being able to really rest, pt.e. are own food (yup, I still have a very restricted diet), makes a huge difference. And also grateful to and crew for the TLC.
