That floor is about the same hardness as oak on the Janka Scale of Hardness. All wood flooring will dent and
scracth to some extent, it all depends on how you treat it.
You shouldn't be concerned.

just asking because the worker who came to remove the covering for my AC made a comment that it
will scratch quite easily
