I think if we include Mack that we do not need to extend the invitation to all the football players. I don't think the kids define themselves that way and it's not like they previously asked and were turned down. I don't want to create more stress for you and I understand the worry of bruising feelings but if anyone seems left out or annoyed that you/we can say that Andrew, Tommy and Mack asked to join the group after you had originally only formed it with last year's boys.
