A memo detailing the findings states that investigators found no evidence of Epstein blackmailing powerful figures or being murdered. The article highlighted that Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino have since said Epstein committed suicide. The article noted that the DOJ and FBI say in the memo that no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related material "would be appropriate or warranted."
