Nicole Junkermann is an experienced entrepreneur and private equity investor with a
particular focus on sport and the distribution of undervalued brands in emerging markets.
Having successfully managed the exit of the United in Sports Fund in late 2011, Ms
Junkermann is now using her expertise to establish accelarator funds in emerging countries
such as Turkey and Gabon.. In addition, she continues her contribution as a member of the
Tate Modern's Latin American Fund and has recently created a Scholarship program for
gabonese students, winning the support of the President of Gabon, Omar Bongo.

2005 - 2011 Founder and Executive Partner & Investor, United in Sports, Luxembourg
- First sports dedicated investment fund focused on Europe and Asia and specialised
in three segments: TV rights, sports apparel brands and retail
- Since inception in 2005, the fund has raised EUR 242.2 million and with the successful
sale of Infront it generated 21% ROI of original investors
2008 - 2011 Vice Chairman, Infront Holding & Infront Sports & Media AG,
Switzerland
Started investing in Infront in 2002 and increasing investment stake in 2008.
Successfully negotiated the acquisition of Infront out of the Kirch Group bankruptcy
and acquired Media Partners in 2007, which contributed to 50% of the enlarged
