I made an effort and this is your reaction ?! Not very stimulating... helped me correct some words and
sentences after I showed her but the paragraph is mine.
This is how it looked like at the beginning ( do you see much difference ??? ) :
In her thesis, the author infers that all women need financial security and the privacy of their own room in order
to create art. In fact, she expresses this idea of anger and frustration in many ways throughout her book using
analogies and metaphors. We are immediately immersed in her world of thoughts where women are trapped and
discriminated by social institutions such as libraries. For example, In one of her extracts, we can perceive the
sacred image of the library ( heaven's door ) with a man standing in front of it and denying her admission. In this
case, it is possible to infer that the men represents the devil. To her surprise he is wearing a "black gown" instead
of "white wings". In addition, her anger is emphasised by the repetition of the words "never", "never will I"
which gives more weight to her argument. In this chapter, we can clearly feel the oppression and the pain she is
suffering. For this reason, wealth is regularly cited as a necessary ingredient for creativity and a way of
establishing her own "rules".
