According to the proposal, Israel will pay Turkey $20 million in compens=tion within 25 days, AFP reported citing Turkey's state-run Anado=u news agency. In exchange, the legal case against the Israeli commandos, who partici=ated in the 2010 raid on the Turkish aid ship Mavi Marmara that killed ni=e Turkish activists, would be dropped. The agreement won approval by the Israeli cabinet in June, however, it=was held up in Turkey after the July 15 failed coup against President Rec=p Tayyip Erdogan. Once the normalization process is completed, Turkey and Israel will begi= the process of exchanging ambassadors that allows the countries to have=fully restored ties.
