Accounting—for Richard Kahn-04/22/18—Robert Trivers
Enhanced Learning Foundation Grant to Biosocial Research Foundation
—08/27/2017.
The Grant was spent almost entirely on research related to theoretical topics: Honor
killings and Lynchings in modern America.
$18,000 Research by Dr Amy Jacobson. She has done excellent research on the
many case studies of Honor killings, along with photos, clear evidence that victims
are beautiful not ugly, uncles likely to help the father and even take a more active
role and that Hindu killings are indeed associated with conflicts between
endogamous clans. She has likewise done extensive work on the history of lynching
in the US, including cases since 2000, averaging > 1 per year. Short, well-illustrated
and (hopefully) powerful books on the subjects are now in preparation.
$4900 Computer work, including editing and U-Tubing of talk on Honor Killing and,
separately, on the Lynching of Lennon Lacy in North Carolina in 2014.
$5800 Consultation with mother of victim, Ms Claudia Lacy—producing extensive
and important evidence available through no other means.
$850 Taxi to Bladenboro, NC from Myrtle Beach, SC (twice), including site of
lynching, of desecrated burial spot (3 days after lynching) and of Lacy's nearby
home and church.
$640 Airfare to same (twice)
$30,190 TOTAL
