I spoke with the Brian Arrandale, the new GC you found on El Brillo Way
We reviewed the following:
I) Sea Wall / Dock - original quote (see attached) from Dan Labonte did
not have vendor name so I was unable to contact directly
A) would you like Brian to quote same scope of which is to just repair
existing structure (see attached)
B) quote demolition of existing dock, remove existing floating seawall
footer sheets, construct new seawall in front of existing seawall with 8'
(or another size) wide dock, install new 122 x 122 concrete piles,
install new travertine on new boat dock and install boat lift
2) Windows - Brian is reaching out to window vendor to obtain photos to
show you as they will be slightly different that existing wood windows due
to heavier framework to support hurricane impact ratings
-> Note lead time 16 weeks for windows
3) Spa Room
A) quote from Palmer Marble and Tile Inc to provide materials and labor
for Spa room floor with 182 x 182 white carrerra marble tiles 9,414.00
Brian crew will remove carpet, the baseboard molding on the floor as
marble needs to go under it so it can expand and retract (based on time -
estimated -> 3,000.00
Subtotal 12,414.00
GC FEE 15% 1,862.55
Total Cost 14,276.55
-> I have attached photos of existing bathroom white carrerra tiles -
note floors are honed down with sealer and are a slightly lighter color
then the walls
-> Karyna advised Brian that she would like to use darker wall color on
Spa room floor - Please confirm this is ok
4) Bedroom Floor Joints
-> Plan is to pull up carpet and preserve so it can be reused, then cut
out plywood that is sinking and view from 3 sides (2 bedrooms and
hallway), bring floor up and support
-> Estimated cost for time and materials 6,000 - 10,000

Please advise if ok to proceed
In addition please advise scope of work for sea wall / dock and if darker
carerra marble for floor is ok
