Dear Jeffrey,
Hasan has asked me to send the following:
Attached you will find:
-A drafted version of a site plan focusing on entrance ("entrance landscape option")
-Building Plan
-Folder of jpegs:
Sketches:
1- Diagrammatic sketch of approach road- This sketch shows the possible new
connection and circulation path from below the gym to the Hammam entry tower.
Manipulations and patterning of the earth via contours and terraces as well as vegetation
would follow.
(see drafted "entrance Landscape option" for more detail)
2-Diagramatic sketch showing twisting of the tower- Concept being that all interior
spaces follow strict geometry while spaces and pieces that break away from the building
(starting with the tower) begin their own language and relationship that best benefits the
landscape and site circulation.
Images:
1 and 2- Interior of pool area. We have begun modeling the interior spaces of the
Hammam starting with the pool. These images are not to be taken literally and are only a
starting point for details of patterns, plaster work etc -to be discussed. Columns from
Cordoba are being used as a starting point for proportions of the space around the pool.
Hasan is available between 9am and 11am tomorrow.
