On or about July 6, 2019, at approximately 5:30PM, EPSTEIN's plane with tail number N212JE landed in Teterboro, New Jersey, arriving from Paris, France. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents and processed EPSTEIN coming back into the United States. Once EPSTEIN cleared US Customs, EPSTEIN was i o FBI Special Agent - and Task Force Officer, Detective. EPSTEIN was informed that a federal arrest warrant had been issued for him regarding sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. EPSTEIN was read his rights, which he in turn asked to speak with his lawyer before questioning. EPSTEIN was taken into FBI custody at approximately 6:12PM. EPSTEIN was transported to 26 Federal Plaza, New York, New York fn st processing by Special Agent Special Agent and Task Force Officer, Detective before being transported to the Metropolitan Correctional Center for safe keeping until his initial appearance on July 8, 2019.
