I had $56,000 in the three cottage budget to replace rotted doors and shutters.
Attached is a photo of a proposed alternative. Instead of the shutter in the door and a glass covering inside that allows water
to enter the room, I would put fixed glass in the door and the shutter on the inside, weatherproofing the opening.
The cost of the door assembly remains the same ,but we would need to replace all the doors to keep everything
looking consistent raising the cost to $82,000.
any thoughts?
