grew up in Phoenix Arizona. The highest level of education completed was masters degree and he is currently a baker. He is currently starting a bakery with his fiancé and still lives in Arizona. knows from growing up as they went to neighboring high schools. She went to a catholic girl's high school and went to a catholic boy's high school. He first met her in April of 1996 at the junior year prom. They met at the after party and became friends. In the fall of 1996 around September they started dating. They dated all though senior year from 1996-1997. They would then date on and off through 1999. They went to college on separate coasts but remained friends through college. They the dated again after college on 2001-2002. After that they continued to remain close friends and would talk on average once a month. The first time that talked with about EPSTEIN was around the late fall/ winter of 1996-1997. and had started to become physically intimate when had some hesitation and began to cry. thinks this may have been the first time she mentioned it to him. She talked about the time in New Mexico. She did not go into great depth the first time they talked about it but she would talk about it more over time. was her confidant at the time. During their first detailed conversation they discussed her trip to New Mexico, the arrangements at the house and the sequence of events while there. This was the first time that mentioned EPSTEIN and MAXWELL to . She gave some background on EPSTEIN. She told about EPSTEIN's relationship with her sister and that's how met him. She told about EPSTEIN's interest in art and how he would buy her paintings and help her with connections in New York. EPSTEIN would learn through that she had a younger sister ( that was getting ready to go to college. EPSTEIN told he may be able to help get into college and help pay for it. did not come from a wealthy background. Her mother was a single mom. EPSTEIN helped with a trip to Thailand. He offered to make the trip happen for her. believed he was a wealthy benefactor that helped and her family because he was a fan of her art. The Thailand trip was in the summer, just after met at prom. At the time he didn't know anyone helping with the trip, he just knew was going. They both traveled over that summer. They would keep in touch during that summer by writing letters to each other, like pen pals. recalls MAXWELL over the description of events from New Mexico. recalls asking what the purpose of the trip was. knew was going to the ranch. MULLIGAM thought she was going for an enrichment program. thought EPSTEIN was a "do gooder". She responds no and MAXWELL says oh you'll love it. does not remember specifically why thought other girls would be there but remember her saying it reassured her mother that other girls would be there. MAXWELL was charming and well put together and was impressed with her charisma. was set up for a fun girl trip and set up in a nice room. was uncomfortable that other girls were not there but MAXWELL was nice to her. tells about the massage and the massage room. MAXWELL took into the room. She gives instructions on how massages work. lies face down and takes her top off and is covered with a sheet. She receives that massage and during the course of the massage she realizes that EPSTEIN is in the room. She is shocked that all of a sudden EPSTEIN is there because it's a big house and she didn't see much. is confused on which one was being inappropriate. believes that they were both in the room. She was on the table being very uncomfortable but didn't say anything to them. was asked to roll over to her back and her breasts were fondled. does not remember who was doing the massage originally but MAXWELL outlines how the massage would work. can't remember if she originally started that massage or someone else did. believes she left at this point. has a more concrete memory when went back to the bedroom. She was creeped out and totally freaked out and went to the bedroom. EPSTEIN followed her into the room and got into bed with her and cuddled up to her. said something at this point and got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. She said she had to go to the bathroom. The clearest detail that remembers is EPSTEIN crawling into bed with . The massage details he remembers but can't remember some details. remembers EPSTEIN being there and jumping in for the massage. He knows talked to him about it back then but doesn't recall who actually started the massage. During senior year of high school remembers hearing tell him this. After college when they dated again between 2001-2002 talks about it. The conversation was always related to physical intimacy. was living in Iowa City in 2002 and he remembers an emotional outburst that she had. They hadn't revisited it in quite a while. burst into tears. She says "remember that stuff I told you about". remembers being caught off guard and not thinking it was related to the EPSTEIN incident. says that stuff still sticks with her and that when getting physical these feelings come out and she can't explain it. Since this all has come out on the news and have talked about it but they haven't talked about details. They talked just the general experience with it. When ESPTEIN was arrested it was a topic of conversation but they haven't talked about details. told they she talked to lots of people about it like law enforcement and journalists. was called by a New York Times reporter and asked general details about what he remembered. They talk about how details have gotten fuzzy just in general, not about details. More of the conversations would be about and how she is doing. is not a huge news follower but is kept abreast. did not read the deposition that gave and did not read details about her. read in the news that was taken to New Mexico and tied into the sex trafficking charge because of interstate nexus. gave no other interviews with press, law enforcement or private investigators. was such an innocent person.
