I am deeply appreciative of having been offered a chance for work experience at such a prestigious institution as the Bank if China. The reason for my absence was that last Monday, a major problem arose in my personal life which made it impossible for me to come to work. I am reluctant to elaborate on the detailed circumstances in this note. But these were deeply important to me, and have now been resolved. A friend of our family, has made it plain to me how important the Bank of China is as a global institution, and what a privilege I have passed up through my absence.
