The daily news has an article on the tapes and claims a USAO spokesman confirmed the tapes were missing. I confronted who said he talked to press (against my direction) but didn't go as far as article says (not sure I believe him). He claims he's calling Daily News to get correction. The judge asked us to look into it which we said we were in the processing of doing. I was in court this afternoon on Tartaglione and peripherally his lawyer raised the fact that it doesn't appear that any video was preserved of the cell from Epstein's earlier attempted suicide. I'd like to have clarified response. He told the judge: "It's our understanding...that the video no longer exists, it was not preserved." Does that mean there was video but there is no longer?
