Good day all
Choice was able to remove and repair the Dragonwave radio at the Bovoni tower. The damage was minor and
the important components were intact and fully functional. Choice made the minor repairs and reinstalled the
radio and the Choice internet link is restored.
Allister, who works closely with Hector recommends 1 or 2 spare dragonwaves to be on standby.
FYI:
In addition, I continued to investigate the repair policy with Chris from FutureTech (our Dragonwave vender).
He stated that the warranty on the Dragonwave radios do not cover lightening strikes.
But the protocol for repairs is:
• Securely pack the dragonwave and address the package directly to Dragonwave:
o DRAGONWAVE INC. 600-411 LEGGET DRIVE OTTAWA, ONTARIO CANADA, K2K 3C9
• once the radio is received and diagnosed by Dragonwave they will provide a repair cost (if it is not
cover under the warranty). At that point it takes up to 30 days for the radio to be repaired and sent back.

Good evening all
Please be advised that lightening struck the bovoni tower damaging 6 radios including ours to little St James.
We are currently only running on the vingn fiber.
